"BEE" Bits: Cutting Room Floor

Here's a bunch of rough designs from the MIGHTY B! While some appear in the finished show, most wound up on the cutting room floor when scripts were rewritten or scenes got cut, so this is your only chance to see 'em...

Abandoned re-design for Portia that Erik Wiese
and I were noodling with at the beginning of the season.

Believe it or not, this isn't the first time I've had to
draw a rabid leprechaun for a show.

... and here's another "process" image. I have no idea what the finished one
looks like-- what episode is this from? I think the board was done by either
Lynne Naylor or Chris Reccardi.

I like the gasping fish and kitty! I think I've had to draw a rabid leperchaun before, I tend to get alot of Iron Chefs too. Leperchaun's must be some sort of animation hazing.

HA- David, if my stuff could have half of your drawings' spontaneity & life, I'd consider myself a success.

Funny.....that earlier version of Portia is way too cute. The current version is far more a snot nosed brat.
