Sneak Peek-O-Rama

Check out this sneak peek for THE MIGHTY B:

EL SUPERBEASTO Update? No way. (Yes way!)

New screenshots from EL SUPERBEASTO have made their way online courtesy of Mr. Zombie himself, and can be seen in the “Pics” section at the El Superbeasto MySpace page or over HERE. With more ESB stuff hitting the web, in upcoming months I'll be sure to post a bit of my art from the movie. Hang in there!

The mighty B. is so cool! And the backgrounds... a delight! But one thing disturbs me : when I was her age, except for the costume, I had the same teeth, same glasses, same hair (yes, I was really cute) !

Man that stuff is cool. I checked out IDT before coming to Pixar and expressed interest in working on "something like Super Beasto". They looked at my like I was sppeaking in a foreign tongue and told me they'd sure love to have me on "Mean Margaret"
Oh well.

Great work. I would love to see more adult cartoons like this. Too bad the studio had to shut it down before the art was ready. Would love to see more board drawings, BG stuff. doeas anyone have any to show that worked on the flick?

Most of the stills look like they are from new scenes. The only one I recognize is the tenth image down in the link you provided.

Hmm... looks like I didn't have my facts straight. At the time I blogged about this, I was pretty positive I read on the El Superbeasto MySpace page (Straight from Rob Zombie himself) that it was going straight to DVD; I can't find that quote now. I can't even find the original website that first mentioned the updated photos. Perhaps this is why one shouldn't blog late at night.

From here on out, consider my blog "for entertainment purposes only" ;)

I like new cartoons. Especially ones with demons in them.

I'm actually surprised that so much of what we wanted is still in the show! I guess we can start actually posting some stuff with the name of ESB on it! I've been looking for some sort of crew listing on all the ESB web sites but as far as i can tell Rob Zombie has put this thing together all by himself! That's weird because I seem to remember working with one of the most inspiring crews since I worked on the pilot of Ren and Stimpy! I mean Doug Lawrence, Chris Reccardi, Lynne Naylor, Jim Smith, Carey Yost, Justin Thompson, Antonio Canniobbio, Marc Colangelo, Chris Mitchell, Craig Kellman, Clay Morrow, Miles Thompson, Mike Bell,Bob Jaques,Ted Couldron,Todd Ferdriksen not to mention Marco Cinello, George Stokes , Bill Dely Marc Colangelo Steve Whahl, and last but not least you! I mean really!!! what a crime! We handed Rob Z. gold fashioned by Bocaccios and he sold us down the river. I felt honored to be part of that project when it was in it's full flower.

Awesome!! It's great to finally see some SuperBeasto stuff getting out there.

Hey- are you heading up north for WonderCon this weekend? If so, swing on by the Small Press section to say hi. I'll be camping out at a table with Kyle Neswald and Joe Olivares. Just look for the banner with the BIG HAND. You can't miss it. Hope to see you there!
