Another damn STAR WARS post
I just realized we've almost hit the half-year mark and I haven't posted a single STAR WARS related drawing in '08. That's gotta violate some sort of animation blogger law, and since I don't want any trouble, here's one of Aayla Secura, the one who got shot in the back by her troops on the gummi mushroom planet in Revenge of the Sith.

Hi from Spain, I met this blog a short time ago but I visited often. Your draws are very good I like this cartoon style, I remember when I was seeing Dexter, Cow and Chicken and more in Cartoon Network.
I draw too, but in Spain is very difficult find work and my english is very bad to work in other country
I'm a frequent reader of your blog (thanks Google Reader!) and I love your work to death.
May I ask for a blog that teaches a bit about how to draw women in your style? I've been going to Funny Cute for references all the time, but I'd like to see your take on it. Girls are always the hardest to draw, but in the past few months I've gotten it down.
But I can't seem to draw something with as solid a form as this! So.. any tips for the hopeful? :D
P.S. I'm going to The Art Institute in Schaumburg this fall for my college but I can't wait until then to really learn how to do this.
But, it's cool if you don't, It's just a dream of mine. :D
Brooks- One of THE best girlie artists out there is Shane Glines, and you can find his site in my links section. He's got some great books available which are also listed in my Amazon.com widget. Check out Lynne Naylor in my links, too.
It made me sad when all the jedi's got murdereded. =<
Sorry, it should be jedi, not jedi's.... I am dumb.
Dramatic shadow!! COOOOOOOL!!
super!
Cool Aayla drawing!
Hey pal! RAD! She's one of my favorite Jedi masters! I've been thinking about filming a live action fan short featuring female Jedi kicking ass, and seeing this piece just makes want to do it more and more!
My favourite jedi drawn by one of my favourite artists.
I drop here often and enjoy your work.
I wish I could draw like that!
Saludos from Barcelona!
very awesome, we all love star wars
Ooh. Very nice, sexy jedi. Cool.
great lines Chris. Love your economy,
Artisticly assy.
cool stuff here.
Great drawing!!Amazing stuff!!!
Damn it Chris!
I draw Jedi caricatures all day long at the park (those kids can never get enough of them!), but mine never look as freak'n sweet as yours!
I will have vengeance!....... or a soda.....
super cute!!
I love your Another Damn Star Wars Post!
That is unfortunate that she was shot in the back.
(how are you Mr. Battle?)
peace,
Hobo
Great Wtar Wars post. I like how you chose the "over the shoulder" pose. She should have looked like that, before "Order 66" was issued. I wish Aayla Secure had the same sense as Yoda and at least up a fight. Okay...enough geeking out. hahahahah.
I love the way you described the planet...it really did look like a planet made of gummi mushrooms on steroids.
Looking at your awesome art, I began to wonder if this Jedi chick was related to the dancing "girl" Jabba had. Maybe that's racist. But I always thought that'd be a great subplot, kinda like how Leia turned out to be a Jedi -- that dancing chick could also be one, but she doesn't know it yet. Ahh, as always, your talent brings me pause. Well done, sir.
hehe, "gummi mushroom planet". Cool pic. Star Wars drawings are always welcome.

Thanks, guys. Glad my continued dorkiness is appreciated.
Doktor- Dude, tell me you've seen Ryan vs. Dorkman! Truly the greatest fan-made lightsaber battle evah!!!
Hobo- I would love to see you draw Chewbacca hanging out with Sasquatch. I'm thinking a boom box and some cardboard would be part of the scene, too.
Kyle- You are totally a racist. Next thing, you're gonna tell me all Wookies are sore losers that pull people's arms outta their sockets...?!?
Cool work !!!
Nice work.
