GIANT ROBOTS!!

While working on DEXTER'S and PPG, I became known as the go-to-guy for giant robots. (...and if you ever watched those shows, you know there was a LOT of 'em...)

The infamous POWERPUFF DYNAMO:

Ya know when these robots do all their cool transformer shit? Someone has to figure out how all that stuff actually works:

For THE POWERPUFF GIRLS MOVIE, I had to design Kaboom Baboon's BaboomBot, which would be realized in CGI. This required WAY more detailed work than usual: Full turns with no cheats, special drawings for the workings of the hands, etc.

Here's the result:

...All that hard hand-drawn work probably just went to further the myth that
all cartoons are just "done by a computer". *SIGH*

Yikes....thats some pretty complex designs right there. It's intimidating to think you came up with all that. I quit!

P.S. I know you had to of drawn that PPG Dynamo missle spread bigger than a post it. Unless you used a maginifying glass and a teeny pencil ;)

I must say that I loved every single one of your robot designs, even before I knew that you did them.

The power of your left brain working with your right brain is perfect for robots! I'm going to have to let my brother see this, he likes Dexter.

Wow those bots were a blast to watch when Dex was on, awesome to see that you did all of them. Great transformations as well, maybe you can help Speilberg on his Transformers Movie!

The combination of (functional!) technical detail and striking design is awe-inspiring.

With standards like this, character designers will need engineering degrees soon.

Thanks for all the compliments, guys; Glad you're all enjoying the classic stuff. This is where watching alot of ROBOTECH as a kid will get you.

Xenos- The only one of my designs made into toy form was a talking Powerpuff doll of Blossom in her DyNaMo flight suit. No robots yet...
