Sneaky Critters Show

Monday night was a big night for UK artist Sneaky Raccoon as she celebrated the first "birthday" of her nom de art with the Sneaky Critters art show at Bodhi Gallery. Sending out tiny 4" x 4" canvases, she invited her favorite artists near and far to contribute to the special one-night party. I was one of 'em:

All the pieces got their own tiny easel. How cool is that?

If you were there, you got beer, cake, and goody bags. Lucky!!!

A small sampling of the works of over 30 artists in the show.

When you're the only one without a fully painted piece, you really stick out.

You can check out Sneaky's Flickr set of the whole soirée HERE, and also peep Urban Retro's coverage, too.

  11. You guys are too generous with the compliments for my goofy lil' drawing, but I'll take 'em!

    Shellie- Crayon....Cookie.... same thing :)

Pumml- I haven't done much of any painting since, like, High School... so markers are a nice, easy shortcut. Plus someday I want to be as cool as Brianne, so I continue to plug away with my markers...

Lauren- I'm surprised you're not down with the whole Nucleus scene.... they love animation folk. (You would've been a good fit for the Ninja Show!)

Shane- Thanks; I gotta drop by DW and see what you guys are up to. That is, if Shannon is done globe trotting and ready to work again :D

  24. Very cool, Chris! Say, when do you have the time to paint AND be an animation monkey? There's only so many hours in a day, my friend...tsk tsk tsk...!

Great painting and congrats on the show! Now if we can only put you in a FedEx box and mail you up to Astoria for this Saturday....
