Little Red Book

For Valentine's this year, I bought my wife a little bound red book.

The idea is that every day she gets a little present in the form of a doodle; Usually done off the top of my head, either right before bed or first thing in the morning. Here's some of the results:

Our little puppy, Coco.

After she was spayed, Coco had to wear the typical cone collar for 2 weeks. I thought she looked like she was wearing the spacesuit helmet from 2001.

During her astronaut phase, Coco's face got really stinky. We couldn't wait for her to heal just so we could give her a bath.

I guess now you know what I was watching when I woke up.

I think repeat viewings of Miyazaki are a must for anyone in animation. It keeps you inspired.

To be continued....

Thanks for your comment chris. Your work is awesome as well, I love this little red book idea (if I can keep my girlfriend from reading this maybe I can steal your idea). I would love to take a crack at animation someday, just to change things up.
