Believe it or not, those were actually done for work. (Working on an R-rated feature is a totally different kind of animal...)

I did this doodle a few years ago on a little 1.5" x 2" post-it, and it's been a favorite of mine. One of those few times I committed to laying down straight ink.
Remember, kids: This Saturday night is the opening of THE UNICORN SHOW @ GALLERY NUCLEUS! It'll be a big, cool group show featuring work from a lot of my pals like Tony, Stef, Anna, Brianne, Jay, Jenny, Mari, Megan, and Shannon. They make all your favorite cartoons, so go support them!!!
Cool, Chris.
ReplyDeleteGREAT sketches! I love the yellow toned bg's--were these done on post-it's?
ReplyDeletepretaaay pretaaay nice! you must have like a million post-it drawings from over the years!
ReplyDeleteMartin- Yeah, for reals, they ARE on Post-Its. Their disposability somehow makes me feel "free-er" to sketch whatever comes to mind. Doodle sucks? Just crumple it up and do another one...

ReplyDeleteIt’s funny to think sketching on post-its can be a form of work!
I fully understand what you mean about the disposability factor, that’s why I own a bunch of empty sketchbooks...just can't bare drawing a bad picture in them pretty books.
I look forward to more!
I always wondered what Kim Possible looked like in the raw. Great post-it sketches!
