PUFF Pic

I did this for the POWERPUFF GIRLS MOVIE. It was going to be finished as a "realistic" photo of the girls and probably would have filled the entire screen when a character held it up to the camera. It wound up getting cut because of a goof-up with a tie-in contest on Cartoon Network's website. Dang.

Wow..wish I had the ultra steady hands to get that kind of linework. Flawless!

Really like how you handled the smoke as well.

Here's what happened: The contest was for viewers to do a drawing that was supposed to look as if it was drawn by Bubbles, who is in kindergarden. Trouble was, the contest rules didn't state this, so people just sent in drawing of the PPGs. Since the whole emotional imapct of the scene was based on this cute drawing done by Bubbles, the winning entry (Chosen by visitors to the website, not the film crew) was inappropriate, since it didn't look like a 5 yr. old drew it. But, since Cartoon Network was legally obligated to put the winning entry in the movie, it had to be shifted to the scene where my drawing was to appear. So instead of a photograph of the girls in action, it became an "artist's impression". *whew* Thanks for all the compliments, though!
